What is Peranima?

One-liner: Peranima is a Windows desktop app that gives gamers a fully custom AI companion — your name, your voice pick, your personality prompt — that talks with you while you play and, in Minecraft, actually joins your world as a second player.

Boilerplate (copy-paste): Peranima is a voice-first AI gaming companion for Windows. Players create their own companion — name, voice, personality — and talk to it hands-free while gaming through a small always-on-top overlay. In Minecraft (Java Edition), the companion goes further: it joins the player's world over LAN as a real second player, with 49 in-world actions from mining and building to crafting and combat — no mods, no plugins, no server setup. The companion remembers past sessions and grows with the player. Peranima is built by an independent developer in Germany.
