Changelog · Honest edition

Every release, honestly documented

v0.1.55

Safer sign-in & steadier sessions

  • Sign-in now uses a short-lived, one-time handoff. Older installations that cannot use it are sent to the current installer instead of failing silently.
  • Fresh installs open sign-in automatically and start the companion as soon as login finishes.
  • Fixed session restart races that could leave the companion stuck or let an old session interfere with a new one.
  • Account deletion now cancels an active subscription and removes stored conversation and companion-memory data.
v0.1.54

Bulletproof Minecraft tools & LAN auto-discovery live

v0.1.53 was built but never shipped — the release pipeline failed mid-build. Its changes are included here.

  • Every Minecraft action tool verified against a live server — 29/29 confirmed working, twice. No tool can freeze the companion anymore.
  • Brewing works end-to-end: the companion brews potions and tells you when they’re done.
  • Honest version guidance: joining an unsupported Minecraft version now tells you exactly what works (Java Edition 1.21.x) instead of failing cryptically.
  • Fixed garbled console output on German and other localized Windows systems.
  • LAN world auto-discovery is now active: say "join my world" and the companion finds your open-to-LAN world by itself — no port to type.
v0.1.52

Working indicator & smarter session greetings

  • New "working" state in the pill: when the companion is busy with a multi-step task, you see it working instead of wondering if it froze.
  • First session onboarding: a brand-new companion now speaks first and walks you through getting started.
  • Greetings with memory: the companion picks up open threads from your last session instead of starting cold.
  • Minecraft LAN world auto-discovery shipped in this release (dormant at first — activated with v0.1.54).
v0.1.51

Silent action chains & resilient sessions

  • The companion chains multiple Minecraft actions in a row without narrating every single step in between.
  • On longer tasks it opens its reply sooner instead of staying silent while it plans.
  • Fixed: rejoining a Minecraft world after leaving no longer requires an app restart.
  • More resilient voice sessions: brief upstream hiccups are retried instead of ending your session.
  • New Minecraft abilities: walk to exact coordinates, and looking around now reports time of day and weather.
v0.1.50

Proactive companion

  • The companion now reacts to Minecraft events on its own — deaths, achievements, and more — instead of only speaking when spoken to.
  • New "thinking" state in the pill while the companion processes.
v0.1.49

47 Minecraft tools & in-app reporting

  • 14 new Minecraft tools — villager trading, fishing, farming, enchanting, brewing, and more. 47 in-world tools at this point.
  • In-app problem reporting: flag issues directly from the app.
  • Updated privacy policy.
v0.1.48

Survival essentials: 13 new Minecraft tools

  • 13 new Minecraft tools covering survival essentials — chests, smelting, crafting at a table, sleeping in beds, item handling, and more.
v0.1.47

Minecraft rejoin fix

  • Fixed: joining Minecraft failed on the second voice session until you restarted the app.
v0.1.46

Clearer Minecraft errors, more versions

  • Failed Minecraft joins now show the real connection error instead of a generic failure message.
  • Support for more Minecraft Java versions.
v0.1.45

Windows microphone fix

  • Fixed the microphone getting stuck on some Windows setups — client-side silence suppression is now off by default.
v0.1.44

Toggle save & English UI hotfix

  • Hotfix: the Minecraft integration toggle now saves reliably.
  • The interface is now consistently English everywhere.
v0.1.43

Settings loading fix

  • Fixed companions stuck on "Loading…" in settings.
v0.1.42

Minecraft integration debuts

  • First Minecraft integration: your companion joins your Java Edition world as a real second player — no mod, no plugin.
  • 20 in-world tools at launch: follow, mine, craft, fight, and more.
  • New Integrations panel in settings: enable Minecraft per companion (Pro plan).
v0.1.41

Official logo & monthly limits

  • The official Peranima logo across the app, installer, and website.
  • Usage limits switched from weekly to monthly, with a clear per-session cap.
  • Hour packs: buy extra voice hours when you need them, visible in the account portal.
